    I have waded the great swamp. I have caught the mighty giant mexican musk turtle, the fierce land logger-head,and the common stinkpot. I have eaten chicken fried rice with Dreddy. I have seen the lights of Marfa.Research has been very good to me.

    My research with Dr.Fader, really the entire research center, has ment a lot to them. There have been times, i wanted quit but i know that it would crush Dr. Self-Davis’ spirit. Im not really known for my research around the lab. im more of a moral leader. I think research is a great way to interact with people and spread my christian cheer. Research is amazing because i am able to touch so many lives. Ex: Kathleen Richards

    My waders were full of water
    and I was stuck in the mud.
    There were briars on the bank,
    my hands were covered with blood.

    The trap was kind of sagging
    and as I was putting in the stake,

    The Research Center is a pretty cool place. It’s got a lot of important looking things that I don’t understand. I am currently working on my project there, so I spend quite a bit of time there. Pretty much all I do right now is look through owl scat trying to find rodent skulls. I know it sounds kinda gross, but you never know what you find. So come and check out the Research Center and who knows maybe next year you can get to look owl poop.

    So we went out tonight to listen to some frogs. We only have three. I’m really looking forward to the warm weather to see how many we’ve got around here, BUT I’m REALLY looking forward to some more turtle catching.

    Going out and listening to the frogs has been very interesting. I’m glad the turtle trapping is here so we can go out and get our hands dirty.
